I wanted to mount the DVR so that the cables are less visible. This socket works perfectly. Quality seems excellent and multiple lengths are available. I bought a second, longer one and am planning to install another DVR on the rear window. Good value for money!

Lid is difficult to remove. Made from hard plastic that cannot be peeled off or removed like rubber. You needed a screwdriver to unscrew it. Why doesn't a designer or manufacturer try a product before selling it? Who needs this device if you can't remove the cap with your fingers? Flat so the plug you plug in keeps popping out.

My quad didn't have a socket for headlights or emergency lights. The ATV manufacturer offered an outlet as an accessory, but half the ATV had to be disassembled to install, resulting in over $300 in parts and labor. I watched Revain and was able to complete this part. less than $10 with built in fuse! Tap the battery and get it done in less than 15 minutes!

I bought this to "hardwire" a DVR. I installed it under the dash which freed up my standard auxiliary power outlet, but more importantly it made the install cleaner. Much cheaper than buying a DVR cable set and was very easy to install. Connect the red wire to the line from the auxiliary motor or the battery (depending on the characteristics of the camera) and connect the black wire somewhere to ground (screw, wire, etc.). Done, just like that. Of course, this works well for any other items…
