IT'S NOT SILK, IT'S POLYESTER

This is not a silk pillowcase. It is 100% polyester "silky satin". Not cool as the description and product name states that it is 100% natural silk.

No, just not for sheets and pillowcases

Buy a silk pillowcase, they said. She would help with the headboard, they said. Unfortunately it isn't. After a day at the water park I look like a 5 year old whose mom is too tired to give me a bath before bed. I do not recommend. My hair was dry and straightened like a board before I woke up to this atrocity. Fun.

I wish I could return this pillowcase!

The best pillowcase faded after the first wash, the color was practically gone. 3 weeks after coloring my hair and doing over 12 washes one night I was sweaty and woke up with hair dye all over my pillowcase which had seeped into the pillowcase underneath and into the pillow. My barber says there can be nothing wrong with this pillowcase, it's a shriveled, faded, crumpled mess.

Arrived the wrong size

I ordered two pillowcases, a pink regular size for my daughter and a silver king size for me. The pink was correct but the silver was not a king size but a standard size. It even says king size on the box. Didn't realize I got the wrong size until I put it on my pillow and the cover was too short. I can't return it as I washed the pillowcases before putting them on.

Feels and looks like satin, not silk.

I bought this pillowcase a few years ago so I was happy to order it again. The new version differs greatly in thickness and material quality. The new version doesn't look like silk at all in my opinion. Feels like a medium weight satin. This newer version also causes my head to overheat. I know it sounds weird but I wake up with a sweaty neck and head when using this pillowcase. It has already been cleaned, so it cannot be returned. If you're looking for a slippery satin case, this could be it.

Too bad I didn't read the reviews before buying. Extremely cheap quality and very disappointing.

Before purchasing this item, I had already bought beautiful silk pillowcases for bathrooms and beyond for $35 each and wanted to try and save some money. When my Spasilk pillowcases arrived in the mail I was immediately disappointed and contacted UPS to have them returned within 30 minutes. They looked very cheap and didn't shine at all. Silk pillowcases can only reduce friction if they have a very soft, silky texture, and they don't. I didn't read the reviews before buying so I'd love to, butโ€ฆ
