I was looking for longer handles to avoid burns and this was a disappointment. The 17" length is misleading: it is the total length of the tool including the tip. Other products usually only list the length of the handle, so it appears they have longer handles when they don't. The actual handle length of this cookware is the same as many others, approximately 14 inches, NOT 17 inches as listed. If you're looking for longer handles, this isn't it.
