I've used other brand's 1/2 oz fragrance oil packs in the past and they seem to work well. I love the smell of this product, but in a 400-500 gallon hot tub it takes 4 to 5 ounces just to notice it there. The product contains only 22 oz.

Coconut smell, it makes the water so much more pleasant and keeps dry chlorine from feeling on my skin. I'm so glad I can put this in our hot tub. It's a much more fragrant experience with soft skin.

I loved this product but only bought it after most reviews said it smelled and reminded them of Hawaii. Well, I've been to Hawaii and I don't recall Hawaii even remotely smelling like this product. To me it smells like Pina Colada. It's nice, but not Hawaii for me. I don't know if I would order this again or not.

My wife and I love the package, I use 1/2 cup in my 350 gallon hot tub. It leaves no residue, doesn't drown out the message and after an hour we can still smell it.

I bought this to use in a 450 gallon CalSpa hot tub and had to use a lot of this product to get even a hint of smell . The smell is normal, when I first opened the bottle it smelled like coconut which wasn't bad just not what I was expecting thinking about tropical Hawaii. I'll probably use up the rest of the bottle pretty quickly as I need so much to smell the scent, but I won't be buying it again. If you're looking for a spa flavor enhancer, liquids are better than these powders/granules.

Agree with the positive reviews about the quality of the product and that it really smells like Hawaii (I lived on Oahu for six years). No scents seem to last very long in hot tubs but so far this seems a little better at a lower price point. Pros: I have tried several fragrances from this brand and this one is my favorite without a doubt. Perfect for summer swimming, the dye gives the water a bluish tint, giving it an even more relaxing tropical feel. We haven't had any chemical imbalance issues with their use. The smell of these "Hawaii Aloha Paradise Destination Crystals" reminds me of Pina Coloda as some other reviewers have said, it also reminds me of Hawaiian tropical suntan oil which I also like to smell.
