Suitable for Hot Tubs - Oils and Liquids

I place them on top of the hot tub water to soak up the oils (thanks Reddit!). They seem to work better than the floating ones I've used.

Great Boat Engines - Oils and Fluids

I put these under my Yanmar outboard motor to make it easier to spot oil and coolant leaks. Each liner is perforated so it can be easily cut in half to fit tight spaces. As expected, they absorb oil but not water.

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • Not bad

good quality: Oil cleaning shock absorber

Three coolers failed, engine was washed each time, the oil was still collecting in the expansion tank, cut the pipe, insert it in the expansion tank and suck up the oil. Well done. In this environment, however, it absorbed water, but the oil stuck to the fabric. Buy again bet.

Pros
  • New in my collection
Cons
  • Negative imprint

The best way to keep oil off the planet (and your property)

You can trim them to fit the base of the filters without spilling a drop. During my circumnavigation I kept a few under a diesel engine to prevent future leaks. Enjoy clean oil and filter changes.

Pros
  • Regular Price
Cons
  • Not as good as it says it is

Cheap Oil Seals

I used to buy stuff like this from West Marine or other similar suppliers. They charge several orders of magnitude more for this. Sailboat) face the same problem, and since there are in a place where there are many such boats, I ordered this bale. None of us have room on board to stow that much. But almost all of us have room for maybe 20 of them. So I bought them and offered them to other cruisers at a huge discount compared to what they would otherwise pay (less than a third of a 5 pack and a
