it worked fine on the run but when I tried to disconnect the hose from the still disconnect immediately came out of the nipple. Go with metal, spend $10 more.

Easier to clean and cheaper than copper models. Amazing value for money. Arrived exactly as pictured with excellent packaging. Easy to use with a small funnel (not included) The included hydrometer is very good and very easy to read with this all glass set.

Obviously not a $100+ stainless steel parrot with clamps and valves and such BUT seeing the distillate flowing through the parrot is very nice. simply priceless. Also the fact that the hydrometer is included is a nice touch. If you agree to this, click the button below

The parrot is incredibly fragile. And the parrot's inlet has a small hole with an upturned lip. It broke before I even used it. It also doesn't fill up completely and overflows into a large tube before exiting the parrot like others I've seen. At least the areometer is fine. Although I would like it to be called percent proof, not just percent.

Looks good, but how do you pour liquid into this small glass inlet tube? You will need a funnel or some hoses connected to it in some way. The same problem exists for the output channel. Nothing was placed under the exit glass tube. Too close to the body. It needs to be connected to some kind of flexible hose. Now, with all these tubes or funnels, the system is not stable and is made of glass, very brittle. All these problems for so much money? It's not worth it.
