A 2003 Jeep Liberty Infinity speaker swap worked fine though.

that was used to replace the factory Infinity speakers on my 2003 Liberty Jeep. They worked well, the mounting holes weren't the best for my standard speakers. I bought another Chrysler speaker mount from Best Buy that was made with much better material and mounting points. But it worked fine.

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • For an old

Rear Door Dodge Ram '04

May fit other vehicles but not Dodge Ram. The speaker holes in the plunger are 5.25 inches, the inner cutout is 5 1/2 inches. new mounting holes need to be drilled and the missing 1/4 makes all the difference. Aside from that. The cutout will not fit a 6 1/2" speaker as advertised. One side must be beveled or stepped to fit the speaker. Dodge Ram will need to be removed to fit the car

Pros
  • Easy to Read Control Panel
Cons
  • Boring Package

2003 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo Rear Speakers Easy and Easy Install

I bought these speakers for my Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo. Bought 6.5" speakers and they fell into the hole in the original 6.75" round speakers. These were needed. Put them in the original holes with the original screws. Attached to them speakers 6.5 inches. Most of the pre-drilled holes fit well and hold the speaker well. One hole didn't fit perfectly so I used a self tapping screw and it held the speakers in place perfectly.

Pros
  • Impressive
Cons
  • Hard to Tell

Used these to replace the crappy Infinity speakers in my 2007 Jeep Wrangler soundbar with a pair of Polk db521 speakers. Fits perfectly and the speaker mounting holes line up perfectly with the holes in the adapter ring. The only downside I found was that each of the three tabs had bits of plastic sticking out (similar to a car kit, the bit left over from wood Parts were taken out of the mold) which looked pretty ugly. A few minutes, however, the Dremel and sanding drum smoothed them all out.

Pros
  • Special Offer
Cons
  • Only available in black

Be sure to check the size of the speaker mounting holes.

Dakota CC '98 with Infinity Sound. I was trying to make this speaker replacement cheap, so for the faceplates I used factory plastic speaker brackets to mount 6.5" speakers using #8 5/8 sheet metal screws and a 1/8" pilot hole . There is enough grip to hold the speaker firmly. You will need them for the back. Be sure to check the mounting hole size for your speakers. The first ones I tried (SSL EX365) had a mounting hole size of nearly 5 3/4 inches and didn't fit properly. Rather than try to…

Pros
  • GOLS Certification
Cons
  • Update Availability

At first I thought the spacer wouldn't fit. That was my fault. A review from another Durango owner saved my ass. I thought I would have to throw these pads away but he explained that they were perfect for his needs. I gave them another chance and realized it was user error. (Thanks buddy!) A few points: - Keep the old speaker bracket: I figured this product would replace the original bracket and installed the gasket right on my back door. I turn on the radio - the new speaker sounded very weak.

Pros
  • High test scores for support and durability
Cons
  • Not as thick as the other options
