Description of πŸ”₯ Superior 200lb Strength: Black or Yellow Kevlar Speargun Band Constrictor Cord - Low Stretch, Great Knot Retention (Model Rocket Paracord Heat Tolerant up to 900 F) - Ideal for Survival/Tactical Applications, High Strength to Weight Ratio

Our Kevlar(R) Constrictor is superior because of its inherent low stretch and knot holding characteristics. No melting required simply tie an extra constrictor knot and trim it flush for a clean finish. FIBER TYPE: 100% DuPont Kevlar(R) fiber with clear synthetic finish. DIA: 1mm LEN: 50 ft (15m) TENSILE TEST: 200lb (See important notes about tensile strength and appropriate applications in main description). HEAT RESISTANT TO 900+F - Great parachute cord for model rockets, fire poi and sewing thread for welding garments. SURVIVAL/TACTICAL/OUTDOORS: Fishing line, tent stays, snares and gear repairs. A small coil in your pocket saves the day in 1000 different ways.

This item is good and strong, but it can only be used for less.

This item is good and strong but can only be used for smaller diameter rubbers or up to a maximum of 3/8 inch, larger diameters cannot be used, will cause wounds in the rubber, I wish the manufacturer would produce more up to 3/32" diameter.

Pros
  • Fishing
Cons
  • Not sure

Ideal for constrictor knots. I'd like some enamel to finish with.

Excellent for spear line. Surprised by the lack of synthetic material in the thread, so it burns, not melts. Even a little will go a long way to improve the finish. Was used as a temporary insert for the wishbone whilst awaiting the Dynemea and has held up well for several hunts despite its small diameter.

Pros
  • Braided line
Cons
  • unreliable

Fantastic Self Steering Parts

I did not use Spear it, Kevlar cable or connectors for their intended purpose. I used them for my steering gear on my sailboat. This is called leaf-to-tiller self-management. Essentially use pressure on the mainsail to steer the boat. The recommended installation method is to use surgical rubber band tubing. But I found that the boat was overloading the surgical tube, and even after additional straps were put on, the surgical tube was close to rupturing. Spearit elastic tubing is much thicker…

Pros
  • Hunting & Fishing
Cons
  • Boring Pack
