Image does not match

I bought the half inch tine on purpose because it has a smooth, rounded surface. Even the Spears website shows the same picture. The spike I received has an inserted nut. It may not matter to most people, but I need to glue the fitting to the back of the bulkhead. After gluing, you cannot attach or detach the bulkhead nut.

Pros
  • Smooth interior to reduce friction and material build-up
Cons
  • Slightly wrinkled

WRONG SIZE! in hydraulics, pneumatics and plumbing

When installing a PVC pipe, the installation is based on the inside diameter or nominal size. The part I purchased was a 1-1/2" x 1-1/2" burr that I was going to install on a 1 1/2" Schedule 40 PVC pipe. The parts arrived today and they don't fit, they are too small. Think I need to buy a 2" spigot to fit my 1 1/2" PVC pipe? But then the notch is too big for the hose on the other end. What a mess.

Pros
  • Adapter for connecting pipes or fittings of various types
Cons
  • Drilling package

Measurements are misleading

So I bought a 1 inch fitting because I saw the seller's response to a previous question where he stated that all fittings pipe ID (inner diameter) is measured, not OD (outer diameter). When I received the item, one end actually has a 1" ID, but the barbed end has a 3/4" ID as it tapers 1/8" inside the fitting. This reduces the flow from a 1" pipe to 3/4" which doesn't work in my application as my pump needs a 1" pipe for maximum flow. Upon hearing this, I asked the seller what fitting the…

Cons
  • Long delivery time
