The case received quickly. I've had it for a few months and the stand is no longer strong enough to hold it upright on the stand. It snaps in well and keeps it closed like a clasp.

The fasteners on my original cover were so worn that even lining them with two layers of wax paper didn't work anymore. And if you hold your tablet by the case and the connection between the case and the tablet fails, guess what happens to the tablet! This case fits snugly around the tablet's periphery and has cutouts in all the right places. Otherwise it mimics the original case in the configuration. It has a plastic clasp secured with fabric tape (durable) to keep it closed. Auto off/on…

Perfect for my Samsung Tab S (8 inch). Reinforced corners provide excellent protection. It's not too heavy and bulky while still offering excellent protection. I wish there was a way to use the lid as a stand to hold it in landscape mode.

Fits comfortably in the hand. perfect size Protects well. I have an old one on another table so I knew the quality would last!

The case is well made but the outer leather layer ripped/cracked in less than a month of short term use. This can be seen in the attached picture. I am not sure if this is just a manufacturing defect with the specific item I received or if it is a more general issue. I don't know if the product warranty covers this issue. I expected a better product from Speck.
