Spectra Premium 93030 Heater Core Review

Update: New pipe clamps are in or out. can be hard to pinch. This #93030 does not come with pipes but will fit as an OEM unless your heater core guide and return pipes are bent or broken. Confirmed as correct style for Gen 4.5 but may not fit 4th Gen Camry. comes with new o-rings and tube fitting clamps.

Bullshit! This thing does NOT clamp or screw tight enough, it flows and flows and flows. You can try all you want, but this thing will never set itself up properly and make a connection between your heater core tubes and the heater core, it just won't. O-rings don't work, clamps don't work, it's awful. Terrible experience and a waste of $$$

Installed to replace the radiator on a 2001 Camry that smelled like burnt antifreeze. The core showed no outward signs of leakage, but the smell went away after I installed it. I'm giving it one star because the clips that came with it were pretty light, so I used the ones I removed from the previous core. The clips need to fit perfectly or you might get a leak (I did) then you need to repeat the process. Attaching the clamps is the hardest part.

If you buy this heater core for 99 Camry, DO NOT BUY IT! !. Although it is advertised with tubes, it comes without tubes. Another buyer has already said this but since he gave 3 stars I took a chance and bought it. Big mistake. Pipe connections are not compatible with existing pipes. I bought tubes from a dealer, they didn't fit. My car has been at the mechanic for 8 days trying to fix it. Another seller at Revain also informed me that they don't have whistles either.
