Salt spray tested for 24 hours to ensure sensors provide high corrosion resistance. High Expectations Crushed

This ignition coil failed to perform as expected. As my tests showed it was unable to adequately charge the spark plug resulting in inconsistent engine performance. The only positive aspect was its ease of installation. However, given its inability to perform properly, this is a moot point..

Great Choice for High-Performance Automotive Ignition

The Spectra Premium coil has been a great choice for my high-performance automotive ignition. It's a reasonably priced, reliable replacement part that performs brilliantly and has improved my engine's power output. The installation was straightforward and took me only a few minutes to fit .The only downside is that it doesn't come with installation instructions, so you'll likely need to have some prior experience with ignition repair or replacement in order to get it installed correctly..

Temporarily dies after 9 months

I installed this along with all new ignition components (including distributor) on my 1990 3.0VZE 4Runner in September 2019. This produced an excellent spark compared to the ignition coil. exchanged and the price was correct. The truck ran great for several months, then had several accidental deaths while driving and in gear. This usually happened on snowy/muddy days.
