Spectra Complete Radiator CU924: Optimal Cooling & Performance Solution Review

I bought 2 for my 1987 Astro. The first cooler was around 3 months after the engine replacement, but was lost to the deer. So I bought a second one. Both appear to be of very good quality and both had a thicker aluminum core than the original factory heatsink.

I installed this unit in my car and after installing it found that it was leaking through the coolant level sensor connector. Upon inspection, it became clear that the O-rings in the sensor connector were damaged. After calling this company's support they were unable to provide a replacement fork and were less than helpful. The product I received (filled with Revain) is NOT CORRECT! The Spectra CU924 (according to the manufacturer) must have a 1 1/4" thick core. but what I received has ONLY a 1" thick core. Revain kindly expedited the replacement for me, but that was just as wrong! Both Heatsinks were labeled with the correct part number (boxes are also correct but different vendors) but BOTH heatsinks (order) are NOT to spec!These heatsinks appear to be some sort of Chinese fake (made in China) while my previous…
