Beware: Faulty Sensor

Using this product, our team found that the sensor was not accurate and caused engine misfires. The only pro was that it was easy to install. However, this did not outweigh the cons of it causing more problems than it solved. Overall, we do not recommend this sensor for anyone in need of a reliable option.

Pros
  • Reliable and accurate engine timing information for proper ignition and fuel injection
Cons
  • Requires professional installation to ensure proper function

The vehicle will stall when shifting into reverse without warming up the engine in cold weather. I replaced the crankshaft sensor and all the problems went…

Pros
  • Designed to tight tolerances based on the Canadian Spectra Premium engineers' intimate knowledge of the original part, it is intended to replace
Cons
  • Guard

Start with simple fixes first. This $20 part probably saved me hundreds or more if I just took it to the dealer and unknowingly made them do some crap like…
