Spectrastone Shallow Freshwater Aquariums 5 Pound Review

Got this package for my 3 gallon aquarium and it was perfect. You can even use it for a 5 gallon tank. The stones are beautiful but small enough to hold jewelry.

Beautiful. i love the size It's easier to vacuum the quarantine tank without sucking up the sand and creating a cloudy mist. The only caveat is that another product from this company had some carbs (fizz) and my water is already too alkaline.

Looks great in my 3 gallon aquarium. I used up the whole bag of stones with no problem and it filled up nicely. The stones are soft and round, although there may be a few small pebbles. Remember to wash the stones before putting them in the tank as they will be a bit dusty when they arrive in the tank.

I bought this substrate to replace the sharp large ceramic stones that came with my aquarium. Regular sized sand or gravel would clog the filter, so medium sized pebbles would do. They are very beautiful as if descended from the river. The color is very similar to the image in this ad.

for my aquarium with beta. I like the size and the natural color but I think I can take a smaller size if I want to change. And I added Kukhli-charr to the aquarium, and because of these stones, she has a hard time hiding. So it depends what kind of fish you have I guess. But overall I like the color and quantity in the packaging. I had more than enough to fill my 5 gallon tank.

I really like this stone, the variety of colors and sizes was perfect for my project. Got more than expected but I'm sure it will be fixed soon. I recommend this stone not only for aquariums but also for other projects. I used it in an architectural model to simulate stone walls. It can also be used to mark paths (smaller stones) and large stones can be used as boulders. I recommend this product to everyone!

Spectrastone Shallow Creek Pebbles look great in my 5 gallon tank of Fluval Spec V. Chlorine from water). It didn't take long to wipe away the dust that was on it. My only complaint is that it took me more than a 5lb bag to properly cover the bottom of my tank. I used about a bag and a quarter. So far, they have been easy to clean when changing the water. Overall I am very happy with this purchase.
