Maybe it's just me on the diff covers

Looks like the chrome plating process wasn't done correctly or the part wasn't checked before chrome plating. However, the center looks good, not the rim around the whole center. Maybe bring it back for the better.

perfect for diff caps

It was the right part and it fitted perfectly. I'm glad I finally got the right part and didn't ruin my diff. The old one lost oil. This was for a 1996 long cab Ford Ranger 4x4 with a 4.0 liter STX engine.

A touch of class! - Differential Covers

It's a nasty job getting down deep to remove the foul smelling gear oil. But after the cleanup is complete and you put everything back together, it's a sweet victory. I reused stock screws. This gives the lid a nice contrast. It was installed on a 2003 Mercury Grand Marquis.
