Very weak metal - Sensors

When installing my air filter, part of the "pipe" broke at the connection point to the flange. Very weak metal. This creates a hole in the air filter system, rendering it unusable. The mounting holes weren't close to what I wanted to use it for (Explorer 96 5.0) but it was easy to drill 4 holes which worked well.

Pros
  • Brings joy
Cons
  • Almost everything is fine

Not too shabby - Mass Air Flow

I was a bit skeptical about the general fit and finish when I ordered it, but now that I've unboxed it it doesn't look too bad. It is installed on the body of the Toyota Tacoma 2.4 2RZ 1997 mass air flow sensor. It is bolted on and has a hole with a socket for the IAT sensor. You'll need to increase the bore and install a larger bushing that you can borrow from the stock airbox.

Pros
  • Certified
Cons
  • Secret

Great quality, does what it's supposed to

Used to install a K&N Performance Air Cleaner on a 2000 Nissan Maxima GLE (3.0 V6). It's really good material and quality, I used bolts and self tapping screws to hold it and the filter was able to work without any problems. Be careful to get the mass air flow sensor. Might need a little tweaking and snuggly and I would definitely buy it again

Pros
  • Lots of positive vibes
Cons
  • Easy to repair

Fits AW11 for parts

I needed a mass air flow adapter for my 85ft Toyota MR2 (AW11) and it worked. The internal holes shown in the product photos were not pre-drilled before I received the product but were tapped to drill them myself. These were the four holes needed to connect the adapter to my MAF. Drilling the holes wasn't difficult, but I recommend drilling them as wide as possible as I had to file the holes a bit to get the studs lined up properly. 3 inch aftermarket filter after installing this adapter plate.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • I vaguely remember

90-93 Mazda Miata: OK, but not great.

As mentioned the 4 "inner" holes (necessary to fit AFM on Miata 90-93) were not drilled in the product I received. There were a couple of holes to mark where holes could be drilled, but one of them wasn't quite in the right place. However, drilling as needed was easy enough; just a nuisance. As mentioned, there isn't much room for a nut or bolt when using internal holes, but given the size/shape of the square AFM entry on the Miata 90-93 there aren't many alternatives without a significant…

Pros
  • The best in its niche
Cons
  • Will be added later
