The jumprope is fantastic! It's super quick

The jumprope is fantastic! It's super quick, and it's great to have your own jumprope that's cut to length. Been able to do a lot more doubleunders without fatiguing as fast, and I can jump naturally without worrying about tripping. The customer service is also phenomenal. I accidentally cut my first one too short for doubleunders (though it was perfect for singles), and they sent another one to me for free! They were very helpful, and followed up very quickly.

Pros
  • Helps you burn more calories
Cons
  • May not offer enough resistance for advanced users

Good quality, but meh.

I know that it's in the lower price range, and I really wanted to love this, but it's just okay for me. What I like about it is that it's small and adjustable, but the fact that the handles can just slide down the rope is annoying. I would have rather taken my chances with a fixed rope length than deal with these willy nilly handles. While admittedly I'm not super coordinated, I can still jump pretty fast. I'm going to keep at it and see if my feelings change, but again, for now, it's just…

Pros
  • Saves time by providing an efficient workout
Cons
  • May not be suitable for people with hearing impairments

Pros. -good packaging -great instructions -simple to adjust -easy to take on the goCons. -whipping noise will make you workout longer than desiredUPDATE: Not even 3 months after purchase and it's fraying horribly. I only used it twice a week for approx 20 minutes each and never on concrete. I do not consider that heavy usage. I contacted Bella Naturals but I never received a reply from my first email (11/18/15) so I'm not holding my breath awaiting a response I won't get. The 'thank you for…

Pros
  • Builds leg strength
Cons
  • Could be difficult to use for people with coordination challenges

jump.jump. best in my review

I've only used the rope a few times, but it is light weight, easy to use/transport. It was easy to make the rope shorter with wire cutters. There are little clips that come with it to hold it neatly when not in use. Since I have not used the little clips, I cannot comment as to whether they work well or not. The rope does come with a little bag for transport. I have my own bag that I use.I would definitely purchase from this seller again. Great product and customer service!

Pros
  • Fun and engaging way to exercise
Cons
  • Could be difficult to use for people with respiratory conditions

Worth more than it costs!

This rope is, so far, an excellent rope to workout with. The rope is actually metal fiber cable coated in plastic. The weight is great for speed jumping as well as a moderately paced session. I'm a tall guy and the adjustments for height were so easy and simple. If you're shorter you may need to clip the cable but the little caps come off the ends and you can put them on the adjusted cable so it looks fine and doesn't fray. It's lightweight, the handles are large enough for my hands but light…

Pros
  • 9 x 6 x 2 inches; 2.4 Ounces
Cons
  • Not adjustable in length

Very well made! best in my review

This jump rope is amazing! I didn't realize how well the metal cable is made until i recieved it. The ajustability is great by using simple screws at the end to make it a shorter length. The bearings spin freely, and the handles are just the right size. If there is one thing I would consider to be bad, it would be the thin metal cable hitting your leg when you miss a jump. That is to be expected with any of these speed ropes as they all come with metal cables coated in a vynil material.

Pros
  • Comes with a durable carry case
Cons
  • May not be challenging enough for people with high fitness levels

I love this! Very durable for intense rope workouts

Ugh, I love this! Very durable for intense rope workouts. My only complaint is that when you adjust the rope to your height, there is extra just hanging from the side (and I do not have the tools to remove the extra length). I just use zip ties to fold the extra length on the sides so that when I do my workouts, they do not get in the way AND I can re-adjust in case I need more length.

Pros
  • Health & Household
Cons
  • May cause injury if not used properly

I'm pretty sure even the tallest person in the world could .

I recently got back into jumping rope so I am by no means an expert on the subject, however this jump rope is very well made. I'm pretty sure even the tallest person in the world could use this thing. Instructions do come with it on how to shorten it, both temporarily and permanently. If you shorten it without cutting the rope you will have lots of extra cable sticking out of the handles that will be quite annoying. I used it this way for a day to make sure I liked the length and then cut the…

Pros
  • Helps with weight loss and management
Cons
  • Could cause frustration for people with limited rhythm or timing skills

Got this as a replacement for a lost rope, and this one works great. My husband bought one from a local store, and it shaped to the way it was stored making it impossible to skip with it. I've been skipping for about 2 years using an interval timer 50/10 alternating different exercises. My cardio stamina is awesome because of this, and my legs and abs get really toned. I only skip 2 times a week (maybe three at the most) because I go to a small gym that only does CrossFit type workouts. I find…

Pros
  • Portable and easy to use
Cons
  • Could be too basic for advanced users

Highly recommended good for me

This jump rope is beyond awesome! I love this thing! The rotations are completely extremely smoothly and efficiently. Due to it's high-quality, when compared to convenient store jump ropes, I now enjoy jump roping a whole lot more now. It just makes jump roping just a whole lot less of a hassle. It's very light weight and comes with a small bag of which you can use to contain your jump rope where ever you go. I plan to bring this jump rope with me when I go off to visit China this summer. In…

Pros
  • Does not require expensive equipment or gym membership

  • May not offer enough variety in grips or handles

Terrific value and good quality

Lightweight, fast, and smooth handling. I've owned jump ropes that were heavy, awkward, sluggish or twisted up on themselves. Cheap ones, expensive ones, name brands, . and every one of them had me frustrated that I was getting so frustrated with a jump rope. A jump rope? Seriously. I recently got back into a regular fitness routine and the only jump rope at the gym that was the right size for me was . sluggish and constantly getting twisted after about 30 seconds of jumping. Decided it was…

Great Rope for the Casual Jump-Roper

I just got this product in the mail and tried it out for the first time. After using the easy adjustment instructions on the package, I tested it out and it was SUPER smooth. When I had adjusted it to fit my height (I am 5' 10.5"), there was still about 5 inches of 'extra' rope extending past the handles, but they did not get in the way when I was jumping at all! I didn't have to hold onto the extra slack while jumping--so far it has worked flawlessly!

Pros
  • The rope is also very light, making it easy for beginners to master double and even triple unders. The cable is 10ft long, and easily adjustable to be used by people of different heights.
Cons
  • May not work well on all surfaces

I gave this item two stars because I feel the design is such that one small (albeit, human) error leads to it being completely useless.I bought this jump rope to work out at home when unable to get to the gym. I wanted to try it as soon as it arrived and took it out of the package to investigate and set it up. To adjust the length of the rope you use a small screw and nut system. You loosen the screw to adjust the length and then tighten it causing the base of the screw to press again the rope…

Pros
  • Boosts speed
Cons
  • May not be suitable for people with limited mobility

Not the Nylon Jumprope of My Childhood

Not even the leather rope from when I used to box. This is much, much better to use, though it took some getting used to because a) it hurts when you slash it across your shins, and b) it gets caught much more easily under your heels when standing there before you start because it's so thin. You have to hold it up a little to keep from tripping yourself every time you begin jumping.

Pros
  • Improves footwork for athletes
Cons
  • May require additional accessories for optimal performance
