Best for installing a waterline under a sink poppet valve

I installed a new fridge and ice maker and needed to run a waterline. Bought one of those poppet valve plastic hose kits and didn't like the idea of piercing the pipe. I started looking for an alternative. I saw it and saw what the heck it got great reviews and I'm glad I did. The installation took no more than 5 minutes. I just removed the cold hose that went to the sink, put that valve in place and tightened the nuts. Just insert a 1/4" waterline into the hole and it will automatically…

  • Durable finish

This valve design may not work for some applications. Read Review

I installed this valve as a shut off valve from the 3/8" water supply line to the reverse osmosis system. Immediately after installing the valve the water pounded and vibrated very badly. The vibration was like this severe that I had to remove the valve and put another one in. This also caused a very strong vibration in the system.Turning on a faucet or reverse osmosis caused this problem. One time it started vibrating loudly,in the middle of the night, all of myself, NOTHING turned on! I removed

Pros
  • Best in its niche

  • Not satisfied with everything

Make filling your Keurig easier!

This is the missing part you couldn't figure out when you thought you needed an easier way to fill your Keurig coffee maker. This screw is on the standard 3/8 compression fittings that almost everyone has on the end of their under sink water valves. The water supply hose then threads perfectly onto the male end, giving you a tee that you attach to the "OUT" side of the filter to the device you installed to fill the Keurig tank during filter changes, reassembly, etc. I used 1/4" straight hose…

Pros
  • High test scores for hold and durability
Cons
  • Modern

If you're installing a plumbing product under your sink, get this valve.

I ordered this valve to replace the plastic tee that came with the 3M Aqua Pure Water Treatment System Under Sink Water Treatment System model AP-DWS1000. These are excerpts and edits from my review of this system. This John Guest Speedfit valve worked like a charm. It has metal fittings so the threads are twisted properly - that was key to the whole project. It has a good shut-off valve so you can shut it off separately from the sink water. I have those typical chrome handle valves that never…

  • Stylish and modern design
