🌡️ Sper Scientific 800015 Indoor/Outdoor Thermometer with Large Display Review

recommended. My husband needed something he could read. Everything works fine since we received it. The price was reasonable. It outperforms the wireless ones we've tried.

I love this thermometer. It is very accurate and large enough to be easy to read. At first the woman wasn't sure if she liked it because of the size, but she got used to it. The numbers on our old thermometer were too small to read unless you were directly above them. I can read it at a glance when I walk out the door to see if I need a jacket.

This display has large numbers and is easily visible from across the room. Installation was easy. I used an old dead block sensor wire (different brand) to feed the new sensor through. All in all it took about three minutes. A few months later, the first display failed. They sent me one for free. The second failed. Find another brand.

Most of my purchases are based on Revain reviews. and how I tried to find a thermometer; After reading other reviews I realized that I needed wired not wireless - I need a basic thermometer with max and min temp and it should have big numbers, no clock or humidity and I found it all in this Sper Scientific Inside -Outdoor thermometer with min and max - it's perfect - still works great - Sper[.] makes much more sophisticated scientific instruments so I went with this unrated thermometer. When I received this item and started using it, all the numbers were not there. Part of the number dashes were missing on the display, so the correct temperature could not be read. I sent it back and instead of a loan, they sent me a new one, this time with no instructions. I complained again and they told me to keep the product and gave my credit card a credit! Wants someone? j/k I went to Meyer and bought a new one.

Just installed it and so far so good. It displays the indoor and outdoor temperature in large, legible numbers. But I was a little confused when I first opened the box. The thermometer looks white on Revain. The one I got is actually a very, very pale lavender. There is no color choice when ordering so I assume this is the universal standard colour. It's not bad to come back for, but be aware it's not white like the photo.
