Poor quality is best in thermometers

When I received this item and started using it, all the numbers were not there. Part of the number dashes were missing on the display, so the correct temperature could not be read. I sent it back and instead of a loan, they sent me a new one, this time with no instructions. I complained again and they told me to keep the product and gave my credit card a credit! Wants someone? j/k I went to Meyer and bought a new one.
