👞 Premium Comfort and Style: Sperry Authentic Original 2 Eye Cream Men's Shoes Review

I bought these shoes for my husband to replace an old pair of Sperry trainers and he loves them. His last pair wasn't from the Gold Cup line and he said they were much more comfortable. He wears them almost every day.

I ordered 11 wide boots. Arrived quickly. I tried them on and they were short. Looked at the shoe labels and they said 10.5 watts. Checked the label on the box said 11 watts. The shoes were put in the wrong box.

My husband loves these shoes. He'd bought some before, but this color was a little different and they looked pretty rich.

I've always loved the Sperry Gold Cup but my new pair was disappointing. The sizing is wrong and they seem less well constructed.

When I first put them on I was surprised at how comfortable they were. My usual experience has been that these shoes take some time to "break in" or loosen up before becoming comfortable. They were already soft. And the fit was perfect. I ordered a 9.5 width and they fit just how I needed them.

Excellent Pumps. Good price, fit and finish. I expect many years of comfort and service. However, the leather is different from the navy blue pair I bought last week. This color cordovan is a thicker cut of skin (calfskin?). The dark blue was softer and resembled lambskin. I can't explain the difference but I like the feel of the softer pair better. It could have something to do with the tanning of dark blue leather. Great pair of shoes for any occasion!

It took me a while to buy and feel comfortable in a pair of boaters and I started with a few different pairs of Sperry, one pair made from two originals with eyes and another made from recycled plastic. When I tried the Gold Cup, it was like a Rolls-Royce Topsider. Very comfortable with a classic look that will last with good care and well worth the extra money. I would suggest wearing them with panels not visible to protect the leather insoles so they last longer.
