Great sneakers but terrible laces. My son goes to private school and wears these shoes every day. After 4 weeks the laces ripped and became completely unusable. The real trick is that he doesn't tie his shoelaces every day because he wears them too loose. Also, several of my students had Sperrys with the same laces, and they broke too. First of all I loved how comfortable these shoes were! Shoelaces, however, are a different story. About two weeks later, the laces on one of the shoes broke. I've worn Sperry my whole life. I always wore the same size! I ordered a pair of these shoes in this size, 6.5W. I also noticed that there was another color half price but my size was sold out and the next half size was it. I took the risk and ordered 7.0 watts in gray and 6.5 watts in brown.
