    Great loafers from Sperry.

    Really nice and well tailored loafers, excellent quality leather, the amaretto color is beautiful. This is true size, in my case I always buy US size 11 for Sperry boots but this time I got US 10.5 (which is my usual size in many other brands of shoes) as many rewirers to buy here 1 / At 2 recommended sizes are smaller because they are big, so in this case I can say that they are perfect for my usual shoe size.

    Looks good but doesn't fit well. VERY small and narrow. The wide one wasn't wide at all. Also, I'm not thrilled with the synthetic/rubber outsole. I found the shoes to be slippery.

    Can Sperry make the best penny loafers in the industry?

    Eh, maybe! Very happy with these shoes. I don't normally wear "street shoes" - I need my comfort and support - but they are excellent quality and I have no complaints. Such a better alternative to the old leather soled loafers.

    The Tan Essex feels like nubuck leather and is lighter than shown in the picture, but is 1/2 a size too big.

    I wore these tan Essex penny loafers yesterday so these are my first impressions. They look very sharp and are ready to use out of the box. I listened to other reviews and ordered 1/2 size smaller and they fit well. They are lighter than the picture and the leather is soft, almost nubuck. It could even be nubuck.     I wear a normal size 10, rather slim, and these fit perfectly. They are surprisingly well made for the price and very comfortable. Couldn't be happier with the purchase.

    Great shoes, perfect for work, great price

    I'm a big fan of this shoe. They look great with dress pants and a button-down shirt or with khakis and a polo. I bought a slightly larger size which is what I usually do for Sperrys and I'm glad I did. I love the color of amaretto. These will be my work shoes for a long time.

    Great shoes BUT very tight. The length is good but I didn't wear it in width. I have 10.5 W, according to reviews I took 10. Do they have different occupancy? I had to return it.

    favorite shoes! in my opinion

    My second pair of Sperry Essex penny loafers. My first pair lasted 2 years and wore out with weekly use. So very convenient. These are my favorite shoes to wear to work. Great quality and fantastic value for money.

    The shoes look the same as in the pictures. Always a big fan of 3-Eye Gold Cup Sperry, decided to give the Penny Loader a try. I love brown leather with wood grain heels and light colored soles. Nice shoes that are easy to put on and take off. Sperry moccasins first appeared without laces, they are slightly more spacious than traditional pumps.     I bought these for casual wear (summer wear with shorts, chinos etc) so I wasn't looking for anything too dressy or formal. I bought Sperry shoes and I really liked them.     The best penny loafers you can buy

    Fits perfectly. I have had moccasins in this style as work shoes for almost 5 years now. These are the highest quality penny loafers money can buy right now. The next next shoe will be the Chaps brand but they have discontinued them. In my opinion they are even better than Clark's.

    Might be too narrow and tight for you

    These were excellent shoes, just what I wanted. The size was right, I had plenty of room for my toes. Unfortunately, the width has become too narrow - I have a normal wide foot. This is very unusual for a Sperry product that I buy often because it is very comfortable, at least for boat shoes.
