Review on Men's Sperry Essex Amaretto Penny Loafer Shoes by Craig Galante

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Might be too narrow and tight for you

These were excellent shoes, just what I wanted. The size was right, I had plenty of room for my toes. Unfortunately, the width has become too narrow - I have a normal wide foot. This is very unusual for a Sperry product that I buy often because it is very comfortable, at least for boat shoes. I didn't deduct a star for the width, maybe it's my fault, but because of the effort to get the cardboard braces out of the front of the shoe until the end. They are inserted into the sole. They're also much heavier than expected, especially for a Sperry product, but that wouldn't be a problem if it weren't for the narrow width. In 10 or 15 years of mail order at Revain this is the first time I have had to go back with regret. The return process was surprisingly easy.
