This is my second pair of these

Great summer shoes, with shorts or genes. I ordered the same size I already have which is half a size smaller than my usual size to wear without socks. The new ones fit, but are stuck. From what I remember my old pair was tight but they will stretch and become very comfortable. I'm still wearing my old pair after 3 years. Couldn't find this shoe in store. Happy to find it online.

Pros
  • Lots of positive vibes
Cons
  • A few little things

Still great quality

Sperry has been known for its high quality for years and it still lives up to its reputation. The shoes are well made, comfortable and have good support. I'm usually reluctant to order shoes online but the sizes match up so I've ordered this shoe or similar a couple of times. The Halyard has the look of pumps with the comfort of sneakers. It's great for going to the hardware store or wearing khakis for everyday work.

Pros
  • This is amazing
Cons
  • Small problems

Suitable for occasional use

As you would expect from a pair of Topsider shoes, they offer good traction on slippery decks. Unfortunately, they don't do that for very long. I live aboard my boat and swim a lot so I wear deck shoes all the time which my pair have worn out in months. They also lack some padding, making them uncomfortable for long walks on concrete surfaces. But if you only wear them occasionally on your deck, they'll probably be fine.

Pros
  • Nice to wear
Cons
  • Not for everyone

SOMETHING WRONG

#1 Shoes were the wrong color. I ordered CHOCOLATE BROWN and received GRAY shoes. #2 I ordered size 9.5W and received size 9.5. The shoes had about an extra inch of toe room. The shoes featured on Revain have the Sperry label printed on the inside of the shoe sole as I have seen on Sperry products I have purchased in the past. The shoes I received have the letters SPERRY PEELING OFF THE INSIDE SOONE OF BOOTH! Were they glued? (See image) I'm wondering if I should pay the $6 return shipping fee…

Pros
  • Availability
Cons
  • Useless Features

These shoes are comfortable to wear without socks in the warm season

These shoes are comfortable to wear without socks in the warm season. It's great to be able to choose from a variety of colors. Toss them in the washing machine from time to time to keep them looking their best. I still had a pair of these shoes and when they get worn out and look bad I use them as "junk" shoes for gardening and other dirty jobs. I really hope they don't stop making these shoes.

Pros
  • even old people understand
Cons
  • Some mistakes

Take patches for heel damage with you

I wouldn't recommend these shoes to anyone. I've had at least one pair of Sperry shoes for decades, but these are the worst! There is a huge seam where the shoe meets and digs into the heel. Stupid design for topsiders, what were they thinking? What better way to save pennies on production than to make longtime customers hate their shoes. It is sad that a once great company has fallen in such a way. As others have mentioned, the material in the photo does not compare to the shoes you will…

Pros
  • There's something to it
Cons
  • I really have nothing to complain about, everything is fine
