As a seasoned buyer of Sperry Top Sider canvas overalls for shoes, I've noticed that the overseas (Vietnam, China) production tends to be a little narrower and a little shorter than their previous domestic production. The only exception was the Mexican-made Top Spider. With a shoe width of D, half a size larger is recommended.

The shoes are really worth about $30 or less. The bottom part of the sole comes off the sides after a short walk. The sole is very hard and uncomfortable. In general, shoes do not fit well on the feet and can lead to redness or blisters if worn a little. Finding the right size is difficult. Either it hurts from being tight, or it feels too loose. You'd better be patient with the tightness at first, because it expands with use.

I love everything about these shoes, even though I ordered half a size up, out of the box they were still quite tight and uncomfortable. So I put on 2 pairs of socks, which of course made them even tighter, but after an hour they stretched a bit. As a result, I'm sure they will be very comfortable soon, but there will be a lull. I'll wear them around the house with socks for an hour or two until they're worn enough to wear all day.

I have been buying this type of shoes from Top Siders for the last 10 years but after 2 years they discontinued this model. I complained, as did most other devotees. Now it's BACK! The most comfortable shoes for boating or dinner. I'm glad Topider brought it back but with a new name.

I've had a lot of success in Sperry shoes and this shoe continues the streak! I'm not a fan of socks and wanted to wear black shoes with black pants. I found these Sperry shoes and am happy with their fit. I hope for a long shoe life!
