I bought the Original Sperry Authentic Original Men's Loafer in brown as a summer shoe for everyday use. The leather is of high quality and the shoes are generally well made. I appreciated the grippy rubber outsole that provides traction on wet surfaces. However, I found the size a bit off. I usually wear a 11.5 but these shoes were a little tight for me. These shoes do not fit properly and are too small and snug for what you might expect. I would avoid it altogether as there is no way to adjust the size to what you can get.

Very stiff shoe, will hopefully soften over time. Seems well done. Hard on the inside, so you need to add a soft insole even with socks. Silent sole, as comfortable on wooden floors as slippers.

Thought the Original Sperrys I bought at the same time from the same batch would fit perfectly and be great and comfortable. Not so. Stinging blows in various places on the leg are currently causing severe discomfort. Hope they come through

I love the design and look of this shoe and overall it's a reasonable price. Two things are not good. First, they don't offer a roomy fit and the glide is a bit tight on the instep. Second, they could use a little more lateral support, like the Sebago.
