I bought the Original Sperry Authentic Original Men's Loafer in brown as a summer shoe for everyday use. The leather is of high quality and the shoes are generally well made. I appreciated the grippy rubber outsole that provides traction on wet surfaces. However, I found the size a bit off. I usually wear a 11.5 but these shoes were a little tight for me. Also, they are not ideal for people with wide feet. I had to break them in and even then they were tight around the toe. The design of the shoe is attractive and classic and can work in a variety of conditions. However, I wouldn't recommend them for those looking for a roomier fit. They are quite comfortable once you break them in, but for the price I expected more comfort. Overall, the Sperry AO Penny Boat Shoe is a decent shoe, but not one that I would admire. It has its pros, but the cons outweigh the cons for me.
