I wrote the review below when I received my second pair almost exactly 2 years ago. And although I usually only wear them around the house and in the yard, they're already tearing and coming undone in the same places as the previous pair above, where they "bend" as you walk. Of course I often wet them as they are used to wash cars and garden shoes and I have washed them (by hand) a few times as well. This time I will replace them with something else. If they were $20-25 I would buy again but…

I thought these were the same shoes I had but they are inferior in quality and finish. I was actually wondering if it was fake as Sperry shoes are usually better quality than Vans. I think now I will only buy shoes in the store.

I love these shoes! I'm one of those people who only goes to the beach in sandals, and even then I'd rather go barefoot than in sandals. These canvas loafers are the perfect summer alternative to sandals. They fit true to size, I ordered my normal size 10.5 and they are perfect. This is a nice shoe but it runs large so I would check the fit before buying. The biggest issue I have is the suede insert on the heel, which emits blue color when the shoe gets wet, be it from sweat or just water. Nice if ending up in blue heels after a day on the boat sucks, and I expected Sperry to take that into account when choosing the material. Worse, the paint will peel off your skin and get on anything you walk on, so be careful.

I've washed them twice and they look like new. I washed them in cold water and let them air dry. My husband was looking for shoes without laces and we found them. They quickly became his favorite shoes. He says they are incredibly comfortable and I think they look great.
