So far so good: universal joints and parts

Replaced all joints in my 2011 Nissan Xterra. They fit great and after about 1000 km they still work. Don't expect any problems. One of these broke during installation due to needle bearing dropout. Be careful that this doesn't happen to you. This is user error and has nothing to do with the product.

Clamps too thick on 1988 F150

So you get 3 clamp sizes. Well, even the thinnest ones were thicker than Moog's and required more filing. Also, I think the actual device is a few thousandths longer than Moog's, which doesn't help either. If you have something with exactly 3,620, Moogs is closer. If this is the size you want I'm sure they have 5 stars.

Installs in approximately 2 hours

The 1330x is a direct replacement for my 2012 Toyota Tacoma 4x4 however the factory installed universal joints have lubricators. So I decided to use a sealed 1330x for easier maintenance. They were easy to install but you had to have the right tools like a ball joint/u-joint press with a ratchet or an air impact wrench. Some presses are not designed for use with an impact wrench, so follow the manufacturer's instructions.

  • Consistent test results

  • Everything is fine

Best U-Joints About

I only use Spicer joints after a cheap part failed years ago shortly after fitting and ruined the axle shaft. These fittings have a triple lip seal to prevent ingress of grease and dirt. They can be tricky to install as the seals are tight and get even tighter when the lids are put on, but this gives them a great seal. They also come with clips of different thicknesses to get the right amount of play. I think it's the best you can get outside of the CTM.

Fits Tacoma's second generation rear driveshaft.

Although Revain says it won't fit Tacomas, it really does. I installed them on my 2010 4x4. Part #5-1330x is also priced to match but does not have mirror mounts. I ordered 2 of these from the seller and received 2 different U-joints: 1 5-1330-1x and 1 5-1330x. Wanted to install with Zerk fittings (which is why I ordered them in the first place) but only received the one that matches the picture. 5-1330x still works fine but it wasn't what I expected. I could buy something like this cheaper…

Great fit and quality components.

They fit like stock and are probably the brand that Toyota uses (or used to have) in their production cars. I say that because I never had a transmission service on my truck until one of them failed, but all the stock components were sharper. It's also easy to change them. Lots of instructions for the do-it-yourselfer. Don't be afraid to try it if you have the tools and the time. As for durability, I haven't tested it either. But if my original spices got 140,000 before one failed and they…

Fits 2009 Tacoma 4x4

As stated in the title these are universal joints for my 2009 Toyota Tacoma TRD Off Road 4x4, from transmission to rear diff. They are NOT designed to drive the driveshaft to the FRONT differential. To craft all of the rear gimbals you will need 3 of them. They are identical in size, style and brand to those installed at the factory when new. Spicer is a very high quality product and I use this brand for all my gimbals. I replaced my knuckles at 125,000 miles and checked the old ones, heck they

the most durable universal joint for this application.

My three cars [1986 Ford F250 Diesel; 1994 Ford F150; 2003 Jeep Liberty] anything goes with this universal joint, this is the most durable application universal joint that still has legendary Dana Spicer quality and is a quality part that exceeds OEM standards for all three cars mentioned and I would say nothing. less on my truck. Comes with 3 different spring clips for different applications and fits all vehicles listed. Installation is difficult if you don't have a ball joint press. So unless
