Outstanding universal joints from a trusted manufacturer

Whenever I can I use Spicer parts. These U-joints are another signature product with quality fit and finish. They fit perfectly on my factory 1 ton driveshaft and I can count on them for years to come. This is the part you don't want to skimp on. Loosening the propeller shaft at RPM is very bad!

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • The list will go on.

Chevy K20 1984 Luck rear gearbox

Very good cardan shaft, smooth running, quiet and durable. Easy to mount in clamps and I like the tapered beginning of the caps. There's a blue line marked on one side of the pivot that I can't figure out what it's for, so I just made sure they're both numbered the same on my gimbal in case it was some sort of phase thing. You will work. on a longbox 1984 Chevy K20 with an NP208 transfer case and a 9.5" 14-bolt gear on the rear axle.

Pros
  • Only positive
Cons
  • Long time

I bought this cross on the front Cross on the rear driveshaft (on the transmission) for my 87 half ton Chevy. I didn't think it was a 1350 cross as the cross on the rear axle is an S44 but it sure is a 1350. These crosses have a lifespan of over 150,000 miles. For the price I paid for a sealed American Spicer spider, there is no way I would buy a Moog or Napa aftermarket coupler. OEM parts at a great price. get nothing else

Pros
  • A sea of positive emotions
Cons
  • Functionality

Spicer is the best.

I installed 4 of these rear axle shafts in my '67 Corvette. They fit perfectly, although it was insanely difficult to get the old ones out after 42 or 55 years. Gathered them all and only broke one flange. It took a 20 ton press with a steel plate bolted to the flange, and it even flexed. Finally, MAP gas did the trick. Spicer even makes a flange for C2 C3 Vettes if you bend yours beyond repair like I did. Mine broke while trying to bend it back into shape. I put Spicer crossmembers on the…

  • I'm looking forward to it

OE for a reason - Gimbals and Parts

I swear by Spicer Gimbals, they're original for a reason. I've installed other brands as a last resort and they never fit perfectly or last that long. I first installed them on my 95 F-250 in 2004, replacing a pair of two year old precision pivots. The rear shaft still has those pivot points to this day, 90,000 miles later. I've mounted them on the front axles on many trucks and haven't had to replace them yet, all trucks have done 45,000-80,000 miles on these pivots. Do I have to say more…

Pros
  • Nice Packaging
