Spicer is similar to OEM in U-joints and parts

I needed front axle U-joints for my 1993 Ford F-150 and without buying OEM I settled on Spicer or Moog. My opinion of Moog is unsatisfactory, so I've decided to buy highly rated Spicer products for use in my Dana interface. Obviously the replacement is no different than any other gimbal on the market and it's not such a bad job if you know what you're doing. Or even have an idea about the concept of deleting U-joints. So far, so good. The Spicer brand felt firmer in my hand and still works…

Clearly a returned item

Taken out of the box and obviously someone has already bought this item and thrown it away after installation and then sent it back. Dirt or other foreign objects have entered the three covers and destroyed the bearing surfaces. The inside was scratched and ruined and could not roll smoothly. There's a reason it was only 6pm instead of 36 at the parts store. After getting burned 3 times with auto parts through Revain I will never buy parts through them again. Rather pay a little more and buy a…

Simple and easy installation and quality product from Spicer

Simple and easy installation and quality product from Spicer. I installed them on the front axle of my 2001 Jeep Wrangler two years ago and they still work. The installation eliminated the noise I got when turning because the old pivot bearings were bad. If you do, I highly recommend doing the wheel bearings at the same time due to ease of maintenance (the fact that you will likely destroy the bearings that get to them due to the rusting 12pt bearing on the kingpin).

Great U-piece but NOT for 1994 Cherokee

Spicer makes good quality U-pieces but Revain's adjustment feature is wrong in this case. I have a 1994 Jeep Cherokee 4x4 and this gimbal was too big for the front axle. I gave it 5 stars because it's a good U-joint. but I would give Revain ZERO stars for their installer app. I sent back the second one I received (on one side) but I couldn't return the other one as I ordered it a while ago. However, I believe it may fit one of my transmissions, but further research is needed. Be careful and…

Spicer. What else can you say?

I had to purchase this unit to replace a faulty U-joint that was installed on a Dorman axle that I purchased from Revain to solve a previous U-joint issue I was having had in my Jeep Cherokee 2000. I had to buy a Dorman axle because the previous U-joints that were fitted on the passenger side couldn't be repacked as I had been driving too long when I heard the first noise. The lid rattled. and could no longer be repackaged but unfortunately the Dorman U-joint was scrap and as it was still under
