My LED lights kept falling off, the adhesive just wouldn't stick. These LED screw holders work great and I am very happy with them. It takes some work to install, but they are worth it in the long run. With the tape I had to re-stick it over and over and it kept falling off. I even put new double sided tape on but that didn't work either. I had no problems with these plastic clips. I am happy and very satisfied with my purchase.

I bought these to add string lights to my backyard ceiling. They work but I had to reinforce some of the hooks as they are flexible and the weight of the zigzag lights was too much for a single hook. I'm sure if I went around the border in a straight line they would hold up fine. If your mounting solution requires weight loading in the opposite direction, you can find an alternative solution. I like a straight line, but my wife's is complex and zigzag.

I used these brackets on the back of an IKEA cabinet as the LED strips I bought had questionable adhesion. Although the adhesive on the strips came loose after just a few days, these brackets still keep my LED strips lying perfectly flat, both horizontally and vertically. Exactly as described but wish the plastic was a little more ribbed. You have to be careful not to overtighten as the clip deforms fairly easily. We ended up using 25 clamps per 16 foot 4 inch strip of light and had no problems. Also find alternating directions when installing, which helps to keep the LED strip safe. I love these brackets except... Imagine those tiny brackets attached to the underside of a bench that doesn't move. Lying on your back, work in the tightest of spaces above your head. Pros: Holds LED strips in place well. Cons: Non-ferrous screws make installation difficult.
