Works great so far

Just what I needed I used it to seal the starter to keep it from overheating and not starting because my starter is so close to the exhaust system

Pros
  • Nice to use
Cons
  • Damaged

Must buy due to heat dissipation

Flexes a little better than expected although I expected it to be stiff. Good quality especially for the price. I use this on my intake manifold

Pros
  • Cool product
Cons
  • So far so good

Works great with heat shields

I used this around the corners and sides of the hood insulation to make sure everything was sticking. It works great and is easy to attach. 2 months later still great.

Pros
  • hands free
Cons
  • fade

Sticky and shiny tape

Was surprisingly strong and good looking, stuck well. Use on the inside of motorcycle fairings to reflect heat. Seems to cover my needs, I'll update this if there are any issues

Pros
  • Durable finish
Cons
  • Unbelievable price

Easy to use and works.

Used on the intercooler sides, intake pipes and oil cooler lines of a modified Subaru Legacy GT. Worked great. Comparing the data before and after installation, the intake air temperature decreased. Left behind and not yet peeled off

Pros
  • Convenient item
Cons
  • Only available in white

Watch where you turn! Neat product.

This tape is functional and adds noise under the hood. Be careful not to wrap the ends where the terminals go as the heat will melt the glue and act as a lubricant. This may seem obvious, but I forgot and lost consumption twice. It protects against heat and does what it promises.

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • Some imperfections

Great product - exhaust and emissions

I put this on the air intake pipe. I wiped with alcohol as recommended by the manufacturer. The tape stuck very well to the pipe. Yes, it has creases and small gaps in some places, but what's wrong when something is bent and there are protrusions. Not sure how much heat it blocks yet. I still have to check.

Pros
  • Annual trial period
Cons
  • poorly thought out

Weak and fast.

Withdrawn within a week. I cleaned the surface with both isopropyl and acetone, let it dry and it still peeled off. I ordered 2 rolls and the same result. I've used it on both silicone and stainless steel. The SS was a little better, but it's not worth it. It had very little flexibility and had to be cut into strips as it was impossible to do as a single sleeve was impossible.

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Uncertain
