The whistle has a distorted sound. No clear whistle. I think the problem is that the pea size is too big. I didn't have a rubber band on the muzzle like in the picture.

For a week I trained my little dog to approach the whistle using treats as reinforcement. And now, as he picks up speed and won't give his name, I whistle and he turns and comes toward me.

I have a Sithhound, so it's incredibly difficult to get his attention once he's interested in something interesting. Calling your name is pointless, clickers are a joke. and especially when your Greyhound/Hound/Long Dog etc unexpectedly runs away from you, they do about 3 jumps at full speed, knock back a few blocks and get into serious trouble within seconds. This is a durable, well made, high quality whistle. This is a great whistle for dogs. I bought this to teach my dog how to make 5 spikes on a whistle. You can blow in and make a good tone without being too loud. I was concerned it would be too loud and disturb others or damage my hearing. There is no whistle.
