I wasn't sure if I would like this pipe or not but it has become my favorite pipe. What I like best about the pealess design is that I can blow softly when the dog is working closer and really blow when he's far away.

I am trying to teach my dog to come home with this whistle. We live on 40 acres and my German Shepherd runs around everywhere and I had to get his attention somehow. I can't scream that loud. The whistle has a good tone that seems to go a long way. I prefer the pealess pipe, it doesn't stick like the other kind.

This whistle is incredibly loud. There is a lot of background noise here in the city and we have a huge yard so the volume is good for us. Hold it to one side of your mouth and cover that ear because the first time I used it I almost ruptured my own eardrum.

I really like the sound of this whistle! I always wanted to whistle like my father when he wanted us to come home for dinner. Believe me, I've tried. for years! This is the perfect whistle (not a pea). and now, with a little help, I can whistle from my new whistle. My dog responds well to whistles. and turn on a dime when he hears it! An additional plus: thanks to the bright orange color. I can easily find it in my purse or belt pouch/fan bag. A suggestion: Please add a strap.

This is my first attempt at training a dog with a whistle. I've always hated the sound of a pea whistle and the vibrating of my lips so I got the pealess model after listening to YouTube sound clips. My little dog who loves to run and hunt off leash responds amazingly! I give him 2 loud whistle and his ears just prick up and he runs back! I commend and treat him well for the answer.
