I used the laces 2 times before they started to snap and snap. With the 4th use, the laces were completely torn and are now unusable. I feel ripped off. The laces I had before lasted years and they couldn't get through 2 public rides without breaking! Not even hockey.

The laces are excellent. Then the ends of the laces are strange and not very good. The part that needs to be covered in hard plastic so you can put it in the eyelets of your skates doesn't. Instead, it looks like the fabric laces were just folded one at a time and glued on with crappy glue. However, I can still thread them through the eyelets, albeit with a little extra work, and the laces themselves are great.

This is the second time I have bought this item as my son had to have a pair for every pair of skates. He definitely got compliments on those laces. I actually took his skates to a popular pro shop at the rink where our local pro hockey team plays and the guy sharpening his skates asked me where I got the laces and that they were pretty cool and he did you've never seen anything like it before. Pretty cool compliment.

skates. I bought a pair of these (and extra) for Christmas. Not only were the hockey laces in great colors, but none of them had to change their laces before the end of the season (three months). There are no signs of use. I'm pretty sure we can even get through the spring hockey season with the same laces - almost unheard of. They are amazing and I highly recommend them!
