Tricky fit but good closure

Well done, good instructions, mine had to be adjusted a bit with a couple of shims to get a snug fit with no rattling. otherwise exactly what I need and preferably without a key

Pretty complicated structure, but I knew that when I bought it. That's exactly what I ordered with everything I need. The tools you need. Drill and drill. Screwdriver. Something to cut adjustable length screws. 2 beers.

Great price, all mechanical, NO BATTERY

Not sure about the lifespan of the mechanism inside - button not sealed. However, the back panel can be removed to disassemble and clean the internals. The old one I used to run on a digital battery that only lasted a few years. They are used in Chietown on gates that are exposed to the weather.

Not as big as normal door locks.

It was easy to set the code, but it is easier to write it as a new lock than to replace the old one, because of the round shape and size of a regular lock, you have to refill part of the holes (see pic) I'll mount it this week and will update this review when I have more to say.

It's a great choice.

Very good lock to use for small office. It has a great feature, you can keep it unlocked, which is very convenient for me because when I have a meeting with a client, it can stay unlocked without having to unlock it with a code. Another great feature is that it closes automatically without having to turn the latch/knob.

Not a direct replacement for inner door

Needs 2 holes to work. You cannot attach this to a cabinet or interior door without further drilling holes in the door. So if you don't mind changing your door permanently, that would be nice. I returned it and opted for a different lock that is a direct replacement for the knob on my closet door.

The mechanism works well.

I liked the functionality of the lock, mechanical push button entry. I really don't like the outside "handle" as I would have to install an extra handle over it to close the door. Last week I grabbed the small handle that came with it and closed the door with one finger as the small handle is not designed to close the door. I'm surprised I didn't break my finger. A good lock for that reason alone, but I won't be buying it again.
