The mechanism works well.
I liked the functionality of the lock, mechanical push button entry. I really don't like the outside "handle" as I would have to install an extra handle over it to close the door. Last week I grabbed the small handle that came with it and closed the door with one finger as the small handle is not designed to close the door. I'm surprised I didn't break my finger. A good lock for that reason alone, but I won't be buying it again.
