This is a very lightweight cotton fabric. machine washed and dried well. sleeves are longer. but not for too long. They are perfect for the Arizona winter. Couldn't be happier at this moment. My child is 18 months, 32 inches and 26 pounds. He usually wears a 12-18 bottoms and an 18-24 tops, with room to grow in both sizes. I ordered 2T and they are the same length as the other 2T but definitely narrower. This works for my child who has a long torso and we measure size by length rather than width. If you have a small toddler with a bump it may be tighter than expected and I have increased in size and rolled up the sleeves.
