Works great! I eat ice cream every day and scoop it out of quart-sized ice cream tubs and I think it's excellent. I feel good in my hand and with some muscle (a spoonful of "what do you mean?") I found it glided perfectly where I directed it. Could easily make round spoons if I wanted, or scoop deep and come out with half a container if I wanted.
