I love these doorstops. Hard work at home and at church. Every once in a while I had to change the rubber as the kids just tried to force the door shut. This is way better than any fold down. I only wish they had made the longer traveler ones for the outside doors. They work on one set of exterior doors, but on the other the cement tapers too much so we need to use a wedge along with them.

Very handy item to learn and easy to install --- RECOMMEND a ferrite tipped screw on the top of the item -- 1/4" screw will not interfere with insertion -- HOWEVER the SCREW I used above used fits ok perfect for exterior door and increases security no modification required screws were taken from home depot.

This doorstop is very well made and you pay for it. The problem is that even though the distance between the step and the top of the latch is about 2 inches, the stop only moves down about an inch when you step on the cylinder. That's his limitation. If the distance from the bottom of the door to the floor is less than 1 inch, it will work fine. I had to lengthen the rubber on the bottom as I use it on uneven concrete.
