Exceptional Hole Cutting Tool

Based on my observations, the Spyder Carbide Tipped Hole Arbor is an exceptional addition to my cutting tools. Using it to drill holes in metal and wood, this hole saw offers excellent precision and speed. The carbide tip ensures durability and longevity, making it a great buy for industrial and scientific use. That said, the one downside of this hole saw is that it may produce more noise than some users may prefer. Overall, I would highly recommend the Spyder Carbide Tipped Hole Arbor for…

Pros
  • Durable, precise, and fast.
Cons
  • May be noisier than some users prefer.

Spyder has some great stuff

Works great. I wish the adjustable depth was locked when laying 2 for recutting holes using the drill bit as a mandrel. That's the whole reason I chose this spider, but I was missing it a little. Although the gazebo is solid. Every Spyder product I've tried has been excellent. I'm a contractor and their carbide bits are durable and I love their versatility.

Pros
  • Power tools and hand tools
Cons
  • Some little stuff

Simple and quick replacement of the hole saw.

Quick and easy hole saw replacement. I used a carbide hole saw on a asphalt paver. The pins that prevent the hole saw from falling off the mandrel are pressed into the release ring. The press fit on both pins failed shortly after I started drilling. I believe the vibration of the saw against the cement caused the pins to loosen. Should work very well on wood or drywall. I returned for a refund.

Pros
  • Tools and Housewares
Cons
  • Very Expensive
