Excellent for cutting tool maintenance

I bought these after having owned and loved a Spyderco Ultrafine 3X8 workbench for some time. I wanted a stone I could take from the store to my office and use clean that cuts faster than ultra thin to restore duller edges. For very dull cutting tools I start with a diamond sharpening, but once the edge is in good condition it will be as rough as I need it to be as long as I don't really abuse my knife. Neither of them are particularly aggressive, so you might get frustrated trying to bring back a very dull knife. You will want to add something more aggressive to your kit. Do your homework, don't buy them at random because you need a "good" sharpener and you don't know where to start. Depending on the steel and the amount of LOW pressure you use, they can load…
