Wrong description or you tagged the wrong product. The center width is not 4 inches but 4.5 inches. I returned the first order only to receive the 4.5" again with a replacement order. Both returned.

UPDATE 1-25-15: Plates were included, they were just hidden in the packaging. I've used these clamps and they work great. I would recommend a purchase. I know it's my fault but the picture shows a plate and nuts so I ordered based on the picture and the size. Now my project is delayed by a few days with the receipt of the record.
