Not for sound insulation

I used this product for gluing foam soundproofing panels to walls because it was recommended for that. I tried hanging soundproofing 3 times and it just fell off the wall. The pads don't stick at all. I plan on reusing the ones I have, but I'm going to buy an adhesive that works really well for applying to upholstery and foam board. I do not recommend using this product. I can't even hang a 12" x 12" foam board that's as light as air using 5 of these pads. These pads are so non-stick I could…

If you buy them for acoustic panels, you will need an adhesive.

I picked up a couple of these when I was buying acoustic foam and they were in the 'frequently bought together' category so I assumed they were specifically for that purpose . They're easy to cut smaller, they're very strong on the wall, they're really great. They just don't stick properly to the acoustic foam without additional glue. I'm pretty sure I've seen expensive glue paired with them, but I just used Elmer's Glue-All from the grocery store and it worked like magic, all the panels are…

Doesn't fit my thin acoustic squares

These are 9 8.5" sheets of 30-1.5" squares. The squares are larger than those that typically come with acoustic foam, so I was sure they would be overkill. They weren't. After I fixed and clamped the squares to make sure they were secure, they kept falling off the wall and I woke up every morning with new tiles on the floor. I had to resort to a stapler (goal defeat). I'm not sure what the problem is, but if I had to guess I'd say they're old. I live in a very dry Colorado at 6K+ and things…
