Not for sound insulation
I used this product for gluing foam soundproofing panels to walls because it was recommended for that. I tried hanging soundproofing 3 times and it just fell off the wall. The pads don't stick at all. I plan on reusing the ones I have, but I'm going to buy an adhesive that works really well for applying to upholstery and foam board. I do not recommend using this product. I can't even hang a 12" x 12" foam board that's as light as air using 5 of these pads. These pads are so non-stick I could fry an egg on them.
