Square Quilting Template Seam Allowance Review

As a quilting enthusiast, I was extremely satisfied with this tool's performance. The markings are easy to read, and the non-slip surface ensures accurate cuts every time. As a result of my tests, I determined that this template is a must-have for any quilter.

Something annoys me! They say they are made with a 1/4 seam allowance. You are not! They are 1/2 larger than 1,2,3,4 inches. As a quilter, I use 1/4 seam allowances for everything. If I were to go by the measurements provided, I would be 0.25 inches off on each piece I cut. Luckily I only measure everything I buy in the suitcase.

I have several quilting projects and need two or three sets in total. . They are sturdier than I expected and because they are transparent I can "picky" see cuts through them. My arthritic hands peeled off the brown backing with no problem. Tip: Start peeling at the corner. I'm working on a bear paw design and these templates helped me a lot so I'm ordering another set.
