Works great on downhole systems

Had to change the switch on the 1950 downhole pump. I had to make small modifications to the brass nipples to make them fit. Works perfectly. And it turns off when the water runs out! The old one only worked and required replacing oil seals.

Pros
  • Industrial & Scientific
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging

In my experience, Square D's products have always been top notch. This was not set correctly. Although it worked mechanically/electrically, it allowed the low pressure to drop below the trip level by activating the low pressure protection and shutting off the pump motor instead of restarting it. I had to spend extra time resetting the low pressure setting to get it working properly. My best guess as the Square D box was damaged when I received it is that the product was purchased, misconfigured

Pros
  • Test, measure and test
Cons
  • Legacy model

The line/load screws are very tight but a good derailleur.

I normally replace the pressure sensor on my well pump every two years and have ordered a replacement sensor this year. It arrived two days after ordering and when I tried to install it one of the four screws on the line/load side didn't break. Eventually he undressed and I took him back to Revane. Two days later a new one arrived and although all the screws were very tight I was able to install a new pressure switch. I've installed a few of these and have never had a problem with loosening any

Pros
  • Pressure probes and sensors
Cons
  • Slightly dented
